When I emerged form the hospital and stopped using opiates in exchange for cannabis, I began to play my guitar day in and day out. This returning of muscle memory was healing for my heart, but I quickly found that I became too distracted in singing and playing to remember I was hurting. </p><p>I don&#8217;t want to overthink this - it is simply the mind and body (both) becoming consumed with some activity that draws the attention away from any likes or dislikes, from any desire or pain. So this is a recording of two chaddi buddies; two childhood friends. This was during one of those holiday season reunions, the kind in comedy movies. The same first job, at a video game store. They are at times like an impressionist painting; placing you in an environment that feels as real as one&#8217;s imagination allows. They can also be more like an abstract, with repetitive sounds calling forth a dream like state, a hyper-realism. I&#8217;m not an audio engineer, nor do I have the free time some of my recordings from Italy deserve, but I do enjoy stitching these types of tracks together. people!</p><p>I once worked jobs that allowed me to listen to music, podcasts, and audiobooks basically my whole work day aside from meetings, allowing me to consume hundreds of hours of content; providing me a sense of accomplishment beyond the paycheck. Once my work became high content communication, these hours of listening migrated to the background of chores, drives, and some creative endeavors.</p><p>As a way of both building an audience and satiating those who are listening as much as reading, I&#8217;ll be releasing a piece of audio to accompany the main twice a month Sunday posts, <em>when possible</em>.
